The result of online admission of class XI has been published on 17 June. But the result of Notre Dame College has not published for HC order. This time, SMS admission process for admission in Class XI has been executed for 389 colleges.
Notre Dame College authority said, they will run their admission process in their own system. However, Education Secretary Kamal Abdul Naser said, they will go to the Supreme Court against the order of HC.
Earlier, The High Court (HC) ordered to keep on the previous admission process for class XI of Notre Dame College which determines on the basis of marks the admission seekers got in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
In response to a writ petition, the court also issued a rule upon the government to explain in four weeks why a circular, issued by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka, should not be declared illegal.
Earlier on May 10, the board issued the circular saying selected institutions will be allowed to admit students for 2012-13 academic year on the basis of SSC exam marks in place of admission tests.
Without late fee the deadline of admission is on 28 June and with late fee the deadline of admission is on 12 July. Classes will begin from 1 July.
