New Development Awards New Zealand (NZDS) offers the opportunity for international students from some developing countries, in New Zealand to study. The purpose of this scholarship candidates with the knowledge and skills through postgraduate studies in certain areas, the gain at the development of their homeland. The winners will be required to their home country for at least two years after the end of the bag, these new skills and knowledge in government, civil society, private sector organizations.
The scholarships will be offered full-time study at the tertiary level (Postgraduate Diploma, Masters or PhD) in the participating universities.

The scholarships cover studies related to education, health, living conditions in rural areas, governance, human rights, economic development or, as the training of human resources development needs of the state government.
Eligibility:
Candidates must be new grants development NZ, after the eligibility criteria to be considered before its application against the selection criteria, including specific criteria for each region. Applicants must also continue residing in their home country in the scholarship application and selection process.
To be eligible, you must:
• A citizen of a newly developed countries, New Zealand, the awards (Compiled are not eligible) for
• In your country of nationality, residence, preferably at least two years prior to application
• no citizenship or permanent residence in New Zealand, Australia or another developed country
• Not be married or engaged to a person, or she has the right to marry to keep your marriage residence, citizenship or New Zealand, Australia or another developed country
• 17 years or more before the start date of the grant
• Apply to start a new qualification and not seeking funding for a title is already in New Zealand or another country on the move
• You have completed or nearly completed, the grade at a similar level (ie, the applicant for a rating higher than any previously attained apply), unless strong developmental relevance is demonstrated
