Demanding the election of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU), Dhaka University Shikkharthi Odhikar Moncho has declared a full day strike on nineteenth July, 2012 at DU campus.
However, many general students of DU, below the banner of constant student’s organization laid siege in front of the Vice-chancellor’s workplace for 2 hours demanding announcement of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) election schedule.
On Thursday, the final students’ body gave the university authority a 72-hour ultimatum for asserting the schedule of DUCSU election.
It conjointly submitted a memorandum to the VC Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique on the day.
